Beautiful Colorado

My mom, Jon and Aaron are enjoying the beautiful day in Breckenridge. The scenery looked almost unreal, like it was some movie set. It really was amazing.

It did rain a little on one or two days, but after coming from scorching Arizona, the rain felt wonderful. This is another of the many picturesque locations in Breckenridge. Even though it was starting to rain, I had to stop for a picture.

One of the fun outings we did in Estes Park was take the tram up to the top of the mountain where we got to hike around, feed the friendly (and rather fat) squirrels, and enjoy the view.

Heather,
This is the first time I have visited your blog. I don't even know what a blog is - but I sure lik everything you've written and all the fabulous photos. I guess that pretty much describes a blog. I can't imagine why you apologize for your time lapses with all you've been doing since you joined the exodus from T-4. I teared up when I saw the picture of the girls at your shower. I know all of them but one and I miss them, and you, soooooo much! Your kids are incredibly cute, but I have to admit that the years from 2 - 4 are my favorite. Your big boy (Jon) is looking pretty cute too. I am once more reminded that the LDS life lived well makes for happiness. Thanks for your great example of a happy home. I am doing well and plan on keeping it up. My doctors tell me that things are pretty bad, but the Lord has let me know that my time on this earth is not over as yet. I am about to become a grandma for the first time any day. You have done your families such a great favor to have combined such a great genetic pool and then to understand how to make those beautiful kids smile. I miss you and that sweet husband of yours. I will check in on this site often. It's now in my address book.
Love, Sharli Cartwright
